And I recall iOS having a file system that lets 3rd party apps access cloud storage as if it were local storage, but I haven't tested that yet for Obsidian.Who says you have to spend big bucks to have a good time? Not in Lexington and Central Kentucky. I use DriveSync on Android to automatically synce my Obsidian folder on Google drive to my phone locally so that the Obsidian Android app can access it. And as long as you're not actively making changes to the same file on multiple different devices at once, you won't likely run into conflicts because it auto-saves constantly. If Org-mode is too complex for you but you like the text-based organization but hate that that it's not centralized in one app and one software developer, then look into Obsidian. If you want ultimate flexibility, a free price (open source), and a learning curve as steep as a cliff (in order to reach feature parity, that is), look into Org-mode for Emacs. It also has some of the most integration with the most other 3rd party services, official or 3rd party supported. If you use it a lot and stick with it, the subscription price is worth it.
